My dentures do not fit properly any longer. Can you help?

When you first had your dentures placed years ago, they were made to fit the shape and size of your jaw at that time. As we age, our jaw changes, and this means that older dentures just don’t fit properly any more. Older dentures that don’t fit can cause a lot of discomfort - they may become loose, fall out, or cause painful sores on your gums. Ill-fitting dentures also cause embarrassment because they can slip when you speak and eat.

The solution may be as simple as an adjustment to the existing denture. If we find that this step is not going to solve your problem, we can create beautiful new dentures. Today’s dentures are more comfortable because they are made of material that is less rigid than those made many years ago. This results in a comfortable, snug fit that allows you to chew and speak without fear of embarrassment.

For further comfort and stability, we can use dental implants to hold your dentures securely in place. If you are interested in new or implant-retained dentures that fix the dentures in place, you can be confident that Childs and Childs Dentistry we will work with you to make sure that we choose the best option for your particular situation. We are trusted source for denture-related care in Naples, and thanks to our 17 years of experience, you can rest assured you will receive the highest quality care available.
